Freedom from planned obsolescence
Windows 10 is end-of-life this year sending a lot of perfectly good computers to the recycle bin. I'm tired of spending thousands of dollars to run apps that I really don't need, so I've decided to move to Linux.

Linux will run everything I need and it breathes freshness into an older computer. Instead of having to buy another computer, I have more than I need.

There is even Linux for your old phone that won't connect to the app store anymore.

Linux is a good example of what cooperation does - we get great software to share and build upon in the future. The alternative is over-priced hardware that gets minimal use before the corporation decides you should buy a new one.

Furthermore, with the corruption in the currency market. Corporations are building these devices for pennies on the dollar and make profits of over 90% when selling to the rich countries. Have you seen the videos of China making designer clothing costing under $1 USD to make, but the corporation is selling these items for over $100 USD?
