A Message from Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip
To celebrate my awakening, Gord Downie wanted me to post a journey I did with him just before I started working on the mylightworker.org website. This one is special because it's the first time I asked to speak with someone other than my guides and my guides said, "Are you sure you want to do this?" They will only show you stuff you're ready for and I was ready for this. Enjoy.

NB: Always narrate and record your journeys. I find that my guides will say things that may not react with me during the journey, but during transcription, things can come up for purging or discussion with your guides.

The Journey

  • Jason: Intention: This is a journey to connect with Gord Downie.
For an inspirational message for everyone.

I go to my ethereal cottage with a black room that allows me to envision stuff.
I'm going to see what happens.

    My spirit guides are there.

I'd like to, if I could (Gord said that during some live performances. We'd like to sing this song, if we could)
connect with Gord Downie's spirit guides.
And get to know Gord a bit more.

I listen to his music everyday and it's inspiring.
It.. ah.. It's just good music to listen to.
Lets see what message he has to say.

My spirit guides are sitting at the table and they say, …

Guide: Do you want to do this?
Jason: Yeah, well, lets step it up a notch.
I know my third eye is not open, but my heart-eye is open.

NB: Actually, your 3rd eye is open, it may not be a full HD movie just a feeling or outlines for example.

    Guide: Ok.

    The room is dark.
I'm sitting at the table in the dark room.
I feel tingling happening in my feet and my hands.

I see Gord sitting across from me at the table.

Jason: It's pleasure to meet you finally.
I ah.. I was listening to the Spotify playlist, "Yer favourites" and it didn't have Silver Jet on it.
    Well, I like that song.

    Gord: Well, thank you.
I recorded it while flying to Toronto.

Jason: So, did you know about the 5D ascension deal when you were having the experience of Gord Downie?
Gord: Yeah, I knew about it.
Jason: Did it impact your music?
Gord: So well, isn't that why you listen to it right now?
    Well, every morning?
    It has messages in it.

I've actually been listening to The Hip for years and would have regardless of his passing.

    Jason: Yeah, I like it.
So, as a Reiki Master I would have liked to have healed you.
Well, I wasn't a Reiki Master when you were doing your final tour,
but I am now and I would've liked to have healed you.

Did you know about Reiki or healing?

Gord: Yeah, I knew about it.
It was just my time to go.
You know how bands get more popular when the artist, singer, dies.
Well, I had to pass to let the music standout more. Connect to more people.

I'm highly getting tingles in the legs now. All over my body.
I'll breath some of that up into my heart.

Jason: So, leave a message that you'd like to share with everyone.

Gord: I'd like to thank everyone that listened to our music and came out to our shows.
If I have one thing to say, it's to never give up.
    Carry on the ascension process.
It's going to be difficult convincing people, but that's what you're here to do, right?

    Jason: Yep. That's my goal.
I think these journeys are going to help, bring stuff out.

Gord: Oh yeah, this'll connect to people.

Jason: Is there one song that people should listen to?
Gord: Well, I like them all, but definately listen to Man Machine Poem.
Society is trying to make people into machines.
    Do not do that.
Just be true to yourself and all will be fine.

Jason: Do you have a message for your band mates.
Gord: I love those guys, man.
I would've done anything for them.
I just wish them all the best.

Jason: Are you seeing anything in the future that we should know about?
    Future, Ah..
There's only good things in the future.

Jason: Is there something that I haven't heard about that you can share?
    I'm ready for anything.

    He's thinking.

Gord: You know, don't worry about your future so much.
    Well, don't worry at all.
Just think, in the now, how good everything is.
That will only make everything better.

Jason: So would you like to come pet my dogs?
Gord: Sure, thought you'd never ask.

    (chuckle)

I show him around the cottage.
    We pet the cats.
    We pet the dogs.

Jason: So Gord, Is that all that you have to share?
    Gord: Yeah, for now.
You can come back later when I have something more.
    Jason: Ok, thanks for sharing.
    Gord: I'll see you around.
    Jason: Always.

Over the Following Months...

Over the subsequent months developing the mylightworker.org site, whenever a Hip song from the Fully Completely album would play while listening to Spotify, my guides and I joined him singing the song at a small pub -- we didn't drink. It helped to break up my day otherwise I wouldn't have paid as much attention to my guides.

Post that Journey

Here is the journey where Gord is asking me to post my journey with him, where he previously said it was just for me.

  • Jason: I want to visit.
Guide: With who, your friends or your guides?
Jason: So far, they're probably one-in-the-same.
    Guide: Yes, Jason.
Do you think, Gord Downie is your friend?
Jason: I thought... I thought, yeah.
    Guide: Of course, he is!

    (laugh)

    Jason: Hi Gord.
Gord: When are you going to post that journey?
Jason: I'll find a place for it.
Gord: Why don't you post it using your "Publish on Date" thing?

    (laugh)

Jason: That would be the first one that would've used it.

    (3:33 into the journey)
Gord: I'd be honored if my journey was the first one to use that.
    It won't be the last.
    Jason: Thanks, Gord.
Gord: Do you want me to sing you a song?
(he laughs) Go talk to [Guide].
